TRAIL OF DEAD –Teil 2 der “Lost Songs” – Tour

“As you may already be aware, we the Trail of Dead are about to embark on another scintillating tour of Germany, your fair, bountiful, and economically prosperous country. What you may not know is that this tour officially marks the one-hundredth time that we as a band have been on tour! So as you might well imagine we are positively bristling with excitement. Before setting off on my journey here I went up to see the old astrologer at the temple at the top of Mount Bokor in southern Cambodia. He cast his bag of human teeth into the seething pot of boiling baby fat (baby lamb, they no longer use human baby fat), and upon reading the sacred portends he told me in a language I do not understand that (according to our translator) this would be a tour graced with fortune and hilarity. He then began to laugh uncontrollably. So much so that he soiled his goatskin loincloth, and I never learned the rest of his predictions. But by his reactions I can only assume that it is good.”
