„With this album we really wanted to challenge ourselves to try new things and go beyond what people expect from Steelwing. One idea we played around with for a while was to include a song in Swedish, which finally turned out to be “Och världen gav vikaâ€, the fourth track of “Reset, Reboot, Redeemâ€. The title roughly translates to “And the World Collapsed†and is in itself an homage to the Swedish translation of Ayn Rand’s classic novel “Atlas Shruggedâ€.

As with several of our previous songs the lyrics portray a nuclear apocalypse, but we’re bringing it closer to home this time. The song even includes a statement from former prime minister Thorbjörn Fälldin regarding the Soviet submarine, believed to be armed with nuclear weapons, that ran aground on the southern coast of Sweden in October 1981, causing a diplomatic crisis at the time. The decision to include this turned out oddly prophetic as in October 2014 when we were finishing up the songs, there were once again rumoured intrusions of Russian submarines in Swedish waters.
The song in itself follows the darker theme of the album, intense and hypnotically brooding, combining influences from heavy metal, thrash and the domestic punk scene.“
