PILGRIM unterschreiben Deal bei Metal Blade Records
Arbeiten am Nachfolger zu „Misery Wizard“!
PILGRIM haben offiziell bei Metal Blade Records unterschrieben! Ihr Debüt Misery Wizard erschien Anfang 2012 bei Alan Averills Metal Blade Sublabel, Poison Tongue Records. PILGRIM haben den Großteil des Jahres 2012 damit verbracht, die Grundfeste der Doom-Szene zu erschüttern. Die Band tourte mit Samothrace, Mares of Thrace und Primitive Weapons und headlinete das Stoner Hands of Doom Festival. Ende 2012 wurde PILGRIM die Ehre zuteil, auf Metal Blades 30th Anniversary ScionAV Label Showcase aufzutreten. Livematerial und Interviews von diesem Event finden sich auf scionav.com. Erst kürzlich haben PILGRIM auf dem holländischen Roadburn Festival 2013 performt. Ein Bootleg dieser Show steht auf youtube (HIER) und enthält zwei brandneue Stücke.
Somit neigt sich das Kapitel Misery Wizard in PILGRIMs Karriere dem Ende zu, weswegen die Band die Arbeiten am Nachfolger zum allerorts mit Lob überschütteten Debüt in Angriff genommen hat. Im Mai begibt sich die Band bereits in die Emandee Studios, denselben Aufnahmetempel, in dem auch Misery Wizard entstanden ist. Weitere Details werden in Kürze veröffentlicht.
