happening – wild vision
A few weeks after the release of its debut „Birth“ EP, Happening is back with a brand new digital one… acoustic this time and called „Wild vision“.Â
Born in 2012, with members from different backgrounds (Arteries Shaking & Pin-up Explosion) in search of a new musical identity. Determined to move as quickly as possible on the French scene and abroad, the trio decided to record an EP before they go on stage. Something they believe necessary for their ambitions. So they went in studio in December 2012 at Warmaudio (Décines) and Brise Glace (Annecy) and recorded „Birth“, a five tracks EP.
Without claiming to belong to a particular category, Happening is defined in a style Post Hardcore Alternative. Influenced by bands like Thrice or Karnivool but also by others more aggressives as Architects and Feed The Rhino.
The mixture of saturated and melodic songs reflected also leaves a taste for American formations such as La Dispute and Touche Amore.
Both „Birth“ & „Wild Vision“ EPs are available right now for entire streaming on Bandcamp.
