AMORPHIS – supporten IRON MAIDEN!
Die finnischen Melancholic-Dark-Metal-Meister von AMORPHIS sind als Support für die legendären NWOBHM-Pioniere IRON MAIDEN für deren Open Air Show im Olympia Stadion zu Helsinki, Finnland am 20. Juli 2013 bestätigt worden.
AMORPHIS ersetzen BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, die ihren Gig absagen mussten. Weitere Bands auf dem Billing sind die Labelkollegen SABATON und GHOST B.C..
Gitarrist und Gründungsmitglied Esa Holopainen kommentiert:
„Supporting IRON MAIDEN is going to be one of my personal highlights in AMORPHIS‘ career.
It’s a pretty hard task as generally IRON MAIDEN fans (including me) are extremely loyal and going for the show just to see MAIDEN. Anyhow we’ll do our best.
As our musical roots lie in old MAIDEN stuff and we are neither wimps nor posers, I don’t think that we can go wrong.“
