bigelf – “Into The Maelstrom” im märz 2014

Zwar hat es eine Weile gedauert, doch was lange währt, wird bekanntlich gut. Und so sind Bigelf stolz, verkünden zu können, dass sie am 28. Februar 2014 ihr brandneues viertes Studioalbum „Into The Maelstrom“ veröffentlichen werden.

Frontmann und Mastermind Damon Fox meint dazu: „I think ITM is the best Bigelf record yet and I believe it is a real game changer for the band. It’s gonna put us over the top! Psychedelic cinematic landscapes and melodic prog-doom set the stage for the new album, I cannot wait for fans (old and new) to experience all of its apocalyptic color.“

“Into The Maelstrom” markiert zudem den Recording-Einstand von Drummer Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, The Winery Dogs). Auf dessen Progressive Nation At Sea Cruise vom 18. bis zum 22. Februar 2014 werden Bigelf neben anderen Acts wie Transatlantic, Devin Townsend Project, Riverside und dem Adrian Belew Power Trio dann auch gleich vertreten sein.
