Northcote Festival Announces First Names 2014 Edition

Third edition of Dutch hardcore festival bigger, better, strongerNorthcote Festival is proud to announce its third edition in 2014. On March 29th, hometown Dordrecht will be transformed into the national – if not European – capital of hardcore music yet again. With the sold-out 2013 edition still fresh in our memories, the organization is eager to present its plans for a bigger festival at Energiehuis with two stages.

Two of Dordrecht’s main venues, Bibelot and Popcentrale – Northcote’s original home base – moved house in 2013 and found residence at cultural hotspot Energiehuis. The new location offers the stages of both venues for alternating sets, in-house food ,and most importantly, more bands. To celebrate this growth we invited back some old friends, but also plenty of new faces, some of which who will make their debut appearance in the Netherlands.

We are thrilled to welcome back German heavyweights Risk It! as the headliner of Northcote 2014. Their performance last year was remarkable and they have earned their stripes through hard work and dedication. Scottish sons of hardcore in War Charge are bringing their heavy jams with a no-nonsense attitude to the table, along with their friends in Forsaken (UK), Bleak Reality (UK) and GRIM (BE), who’ll be touring Europe together at the time. HAWSER (NL), Bitter Verses (DE) and Dull Eyes (DE) represent the young, up and coming hardcore class. Many other bands will be added to the line-up.

Tickets are available for pre-orders as of today for 15 euros. There is a special combi-deal available including a limited edition (50 pieces) collaboration t-shirt with hardcore webzine Legends Arising. Get yours on www.northcotefestival.com.
