TOTAL METAL FESTIVAL: First confirmed bands!
The prestigious Italian festival will feature, among others, the Portuguese metal band Moonspell!
On 19 and 20 July 2014, in Bitonto (Italy), there will be the 10th edition of the Total Metal Open Air Festival. As the organizers already stated, there will be many surprises coming in the next months, but, for now, they proudly announce the first “big†act that the TMF will feature: the legendary Heavy Metallers MOONSPELL!
Formed back in 1992, experimenting many sounds and always evolving their musical inspiration, Moonspell are today considered one of the most significant band representing the “darkest†side of metal, with a songwriting that can easily move from Gothic atmosphere to doom and black metal always keeping a unique and unmistakable sound which brought them to get a huge following of loyal fans all over the world.
With the Total Metal Festival, Moonspell will appear in southern Italy for the first time ever, so the organizers expect a big number of fans coming to the festival because of them together with the other big acts that will be announced in next months.
At the moment also some other very interesting bands have been already confirmed.
Formed in 1986 and disbanded in 1993, after 20 long years, the amazing American Thrash Metal band COLDSTEEL is back and will come from New York to present to the TMF audience their new album “American Idleâ€! Who remember this band knows very well what to expect from them… huge, stunning, powerful cannon fire of Thrash metal!
Also RIUL DOAMNEI, a brilliant band coming from the Italian underground metal scene, will be walking the prestigious TMF stage. Who loves the uncompromising aggression of death metal and the black metal atmosphere, will definitely love these guys! By gothic overtures, melodic slices and ethnic elements, this awesome combo is able to create a furious, dark and oppressive sound that will conquer all the audience easily!
