RockNews: Was bedeutet Musik für Dich?

JW: Im Moment ist mein Lieblingssong “Take Me Away From Here”.

Takida – What About Me
Biffy Clyro – Balance Not Symmetry
Ben Platt – Rain

Do you know?  JESSICA WOLFF

Do you like modern and Female fronted Hardrock from Finland? Then you should listen to the new Album of JESSICA WOLFF. Her new Record “Para Dice” with ten powerful songs was released on 19th June this year – tune in – it’s worth it. My personal favorite is Ella’s Song.

RockNews: What means Music to you?

Jessica Wolff: To me it is a way to connect and channel emotions. Through music, I can get into a certain mood, like either if I want to motivate myself or if I just want to release feelings. It is like a universal language that goes straight to your heart. As a singer and songwriter, my goal is always to connect with the audience.

RN: Which Song from your new Album is your favorite one? And why?

JW: My favorite song at the moment is probably Take Me Away From Here. Probably because I have spent a lot of time at my summer place which is based on an island. When I wrote this song together with one of the bands guitarists, Sebastian Lindqvist, it always brought me back to nature and the sea.
The band member’s favorite is Ella’s Song 😊

RN: How was the Video recording under these circumstances?

JW: Except for us having to postpone the music video shootings, it didn’t affect the crew in any way. It was a lot of fun filming it with the band and the stunt crew. My husband, Miikka Wolff also took part in the video.

RN: How does it feel – not to know when you can go back on stage? Do you already plan for concerts or a tour?

JW: At this moment, it is still hard to plan any tours. Because the situation is, what it is. I feel it is better not to stress about it. Better to just live in the moment and when the opportunity comes up take it from there.

RN: What Songs / Bands supported you through these times?

JW: I listened to many different songs and bands but here are a few examples:
Takida – What About Me
Biffy Clyro – Balance Not Symmetry
Ben Platt – Rain

RN: Which Bands / Musicians are on your bucket list you would like to write a Song with or play a show together?

JW:  Asaf Avidan, such and inspiring artist. 30 Seconds To Mars, Biffy Clyro and Takida.
